Portfolio and PnL

What Total equity, Cash incl. reserve and In positions add up, how UNRLZD works out realized and unrealized PnL, and the partial cost chip.

Portfolio is the trading account’s balance sheet. Everything on it is in NEAR first, with dollars beside it, and it counts only what is in the trading account, not your wallet.

The panel at the top reads Total equity · trading account. Under it, four figures: Cash incl. reserve, In positions, Unrealized and Realized · 30d. The ranges 1D 1W 1M All redraw the equity curve, and the change beside the total says which period it covers, for example “this week · trading only”. Deposits and withdrawals don’t count as gains or losses.

What Total equity adds up

An example account: 4.48 NEAR of equity. Cash incl. reserve is 2.48 NEAR: what is available, the 0.05 NEAR reserve and the NEAR locked for storage. In positions is 2.00 NEAR: tokens at today's price, and wNEAR. Total equity · example 4.48 N Cash incl. reserve available + 0.05 N reserve + storage · 2.48 N In positions tokens at today's price + wNEAR · 2.00 N

Figure 1.An example account. Cash includes the 0.05 NEAR reserve and the NEAR locked for storage, which you can't trade. wNEAR counts as a position.

Cash incl. reserve is larger than what you can trade, because it includes the reserve and the storage. The ticket’s N available is the figure to trade from.

UNRLZD uses average cost, per token:

  • Cost basis is the NEAR that went into buying the tokens you still hold. Token amounts are the ones that reached you, after any transfer tax.
  • A sell removes cost in proportion to the share you sold. Realized PnL is what the sale brought in minus the cost it removed.
  • Unrealized PnL is the tokens you hold at the current price minus their cost basis.
  • The PnL percent is realized plus unrealized over what you put in during the current round, from the first buy to the moment the position goes back to zero.

Tokens that came in by transfer have no known cost. A position that holds some gets a chip:

partial cost Some of these tokens came in without a known cost. PnL counts only what you bought here.
On the position row; the second line is the chip's tip.

Each row shows the value, the unrealized PnL, the last minutes of price movement, its exit plan if it has one, and how long you have held it. 50% and Sell all sell from the row; the share icon opens a share card. A wNEAR balance has its own row with Convert to NEAR.

  • How you trade: win rate, average win and loss, average hold time, fees paid and return per trade.
  • Calendar: realized PnL by day.
  • Activity: “Your trades, exits, deposits and withdrawals appear here, including failed ones.”
